It was our day to shine

This was the win we were looking for. Finally we put together a notable win against Montabaun 42-13, just in time to take the positive outcome into one of our most important matches in weeks.

This week we've got our long awaited Heineken Cup quarter final match against the Ospreys, which will be played at the much larger Stade Anoeta in San Sebastian, Spain.

From only 6 months in French Rugby one big lesson I've learnt is the importance of momentum, not only for team moral but also for the score card. We'll take some much needed confidence into this weeks match, and hopefully come out with a semi final berth.

In preparation for the big game, the club have decided to move the team into camp for 3 nights, similar to what happens before major final matches in Australia. Not only does this help keep the guys minds' focused on the task ahead, but also for us to utilise the world class facilities of the local Thalasso Spa, renowned to the South of France region for its rejuvenation benefits.

I'm sure this will be the final touch in our preparation of the Ospreys.

Youngest player in history to have played 100 first grade games!
